Borsodwood Kft operate a flexible sawmill for leafy trees considered medium size in European standards but quite large in Hungary. Built in 2014, the plant uses more than 20.000 m2 for its operations in the Business and Logistics Park of Europe Center Miskolc.Taking technology, environment and marketing factors into account, the management focuses manufacturing on edged and un-edged lumber and parquet material of Hungarian and European standards. Our company supplies lumber to various European markets, and outside Europe as well beside Hungary. We are ready to accept custom orders too.We process primarily beech and oak in our sawmill. The technology can be characterised as environmentally friendly primarily owing to the fact that the input material is 100% utilised and use of fossil energy carriers is minimised. Chopped timber processed in the sawmill is used by a 3 MW Binder furnace to produce heat energy. To supply the highest demands of our customers, we are if needed willing to arrange transportation of the products ordered as well.
